Dear Rentia,
I wanted to write to you and to Cristelle to thank you for everything you did for us at our wedding in Buffelsdrift, Oudsthoorn on 30th March 2011.
We have viewed the pictures and the video many times and are having a party in my home town in Wales on 28th May and it will be shown to all my friends and family there. It will be the focal point of the party and everyone will feel like they were there I am sure. Your photos have been admired by many, many people and everyone admires not just the beautiful setting (and of course the gorgeous bride and groom ;-)) but most importantly the skill of the photographer. I knew I had made the right decision in choosing you the moment we met and I have not been disappointed. When I think of all the things that could have gone wrong in ordering a photographer by email, for the most important photos I will ever have taken, I do shudder. But your company while I was getting ready and your help with my little drama on the day, it was like I had know you both for years. Every aspect of your involvement was exemplary from the taking of the photos to the quick service in getting them to us before we left. I can’t believe we were so lucky to have you. The pictures are brilliant. There is no other word for it. I did not think I would ever look at a picture of myself and like it. But I can look at our wedding photos with pride. You have captured Gary so well and I cry to look at them. I have no photos that bring him “alive” in the same way that you have managed to do.
The video is wonderful and the music is just perfect. I also love the photos that Cristelle took. You both are so talented. I want to share my experience and thoughts with people in a way that most helps you to advertise your service so please let me know where I could write something or if there is anything you would like me to do to help with your publicity and marketing. Feel free to use any of the photos you like to this end. I am cc’ing this to Beadri at Buffelsdrift in case she might pass your name on to bride and grooms that enquire in future.
I have no idea whether we will ever meet again, I guess we probably won’t. But if I ever need anyone to take photos while in SA I will know where to go and if you are ever in the UK do give us a call.
